Chien-Shiung Wu (1912 – 1997)
A Chinese-American physicist, often nicknamed “the Chinese Madame Curie”. She experimentally demonstrated parity violation, refuting a law that was considered absolute.
Her colleagues Yang and Lee received the Nobel Prize, without mentioning her contribution.
